Our story
A Bible-believing family in Pilot Point
North Texas Seventh-day Adventist Church is a growing, Spirit-led congregation serving the Pilot Point and greater DFW community. We gather every Sabbath for worship, Bible study, and fellowship, and throughout the week for ministry, prayer, and outreach. Whatever your background, you are welcome here — come as you are and find a place to grow.
As Seventh-day Adventists, we hold the Bible as the foundation of our faith, look forward to the soon return of Jesus Christ, and keep the seventh-day Sabbath as a weekly gift of rest and worship. Our life together is shaped by Scripture, service, and the hope of the everlasting gospel.

Meet our pastor
Dr. Denton W. Rhone
Senior Pastor
Dr. Denton Rhone joined North Texas SDA in April 2024. He holds a PhD in Education & Leadership and a D.Min. in Ministry & Missions, reflecting a lifelong dedication to equipping God’s people. He previously ministered at the Houston International SDA Church, strengthening member engagement and ministry growth while honoring Adventist heritage.
At his side is his wife, Dr. Sendy Rhone, a linguist and professor whose warmth and mentorship enrich church ministries. Together they are raising two children who view the church as a place of service, learning, and joy.
